Alder Creek Kennel is a caring, family-run kennel, where all dogs are guaranteed individual attention.

The kennel is situated midway between Petawawa and Pembroke (map) on a scenic country setting, where our guests enjoy their daily exercise and have access to over 4 kilometers of forest trails. The kennel is locally owned and operated and is open 365 days a year.

Our hours of operation are from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm everyday.

What You Can Expect From Alder Creek Kennel

Kennel is heated by electric heat in winter
Air conditioned in summer
Large suites, approximately 20 square feet, separated by a solid wall
All areas are cleaned daily or whenever necessary
Pets are exercised in a large play area of 20' X 20 ' daily
We will feed your own food, on your schedule, or the high quality food that we provide
Toys, blankets, beds or favorite treats are welcomed
Discounts for long-term guests

What We Expect

All dogs should be brought into kennels on a short leash
All pets are required to have all up to date immunizations, including Bordetella (kennel cough)
Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance
